Van Persie: Arsenal Can Still Champion

London - Arsenal are now seven points behind Manchester United with the Premier League still leaves seven or eight again. Although looks difficult but Robin van Persie remains confident the Gunners can still be a champion at the end of this season.

Results obtained Arsenal 0-0 Blackburn Rovers entertain during the weekend failed to make them keep the distance with Chelsea at the top. While the Red Devils at the same time it won 4-2 over West Ham United after a 0-2 behind first.

Position standings today is United have 66 points from 30 games while Arsenal's 59 with the London club was still left that has not played one match. Arsenal and Manchester United will meet at the Emirates Stadium on 1 May.

MU still will face Chelsea at Old Trafford on 8 May while Arsenal meet Liverpool tomorrow 17 April. Two teams that could be expected to block Manchester United and Arsenal.

The advantage they now live concentrate Arsenal in the league, unlike the MU which is still struggling in the three competitions at once.

That's what prompted Van Persie to be best utilized by Arsenal to reap full value from another team and not waste the opportunity again like the game contra Blackburn.

"What I saw is United have added an extra two fierce fight before they fight us," said Van Persie as reported by ESPN.

"Hopefully they will take a lot of players from the reserves and came here (Emirates) with fatigue. As I see it's because I want the team to take the best chance against them," he continued.

"We started practicing again on Monday and all the players in a positive condition. We are no different and we must remain confident (the title). We're still going to fight them and we still can win the three points," said the Dutch striker.

"Now it's up to us. All the players keep thinking positive and talk to each other that is 'Come on, we still have eight games remaining and give it your best ability'. We'll do it," said 27-year footballer.
