David Luiz: Beat Manchester United in the Premiership and Champions League











London - Though still behind nine points, David Luiz determined pursuit of Manchester United at the top of the standings. Not only that, the defender also believes the Blues can tackle on Manchester United in the Champions League step.

Chelsea continued to maintain hope to be able to retain Premier League title following a 2-0 victory over Manchester City. Two goals from David Luiz and Ramires drove the Blues go up into the top three standings.

There are now nine points to become the separator between Chelsea and Manchester United, with 'The Blue ' still have one more game remaining. These conditions make Chelsea a chance to pursue the acquisition of points the Red Devils are still very wide open.

Special David Luiz, Chelsea target not just take the throne back in the Premier League. He also had ambitions to terminate gait protégé Sir Alex Ferguson at Campions League, Manchester United and Chelsea-related meetings in the quarter-finals.

"We want to do everything this season. We want to chase Manchester United in the Premier League and beat them in the Champions League. We have to believe - we can win the title," said Luiz in The Sun.

Luis itself certainly will not be able to strengthen Chelsea in the Champions League because according to UEFA rules he can not strengthen the two different clubs in one season on the show anyway. In the first half of this season he appeared in the Champions League with Benfica.

"There are still many matches left and a lot of points to be collected. I can not play in the Champions League because it bound the rules - but I am very close to the team. The joy of my colleagues are fun if they play well," said the Brazilian defender who has contributed two goal for Chelsea.
