Fabregas Season Has Ended





London - Arsenal will not be strengthened by Cesc Fabregas in the Premier League games remaining this season. Injuries make season the Gunners captain ended.

"This season Fabregas has ended and it also applies to fight him with the national team," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger at the club's official website.

Fabregas himself was last performed in the face of Bolton on April 24 last. Then he missed three games.

Arsenal captain was originally featured in the match against Newcastle on Sunday (05/15/2011) night. But he eventually sidelined because of injury recurrence.

"He re-injured in his thigh and he will not play for us again this season. He also can not play for Spain because he should be sidelined for three to four weeks,"added Wenger.

That means Arsenal can not be strengthened academy dropout Barcelona players when faced Fulham last fight which is the North London team Premier League this season. Fabregas also could not defend the Spanish national team in a friendly match against the United States and Venezuela in June.

Apart from Fabregas, Johan Djourou for the season and also Samir Nasri may also have ended. "Djouru small chance (to appear opposite Fulham), and Nasri chances are very small," said Wenger.

"We will see how development of the condition of Nasri, but he also probably could not strengthen the French against Belarus on 3 June. injury not as serious Samir experienced Fabregas,"concludes The Professor.
